A very PH issue.

I have a new car, which is too high for our Dalmatian to jump into.

I have bought a folding ramp, but he's reluctant to use it.

Currently, we are sat in the lounge with it, so that he gets used to it being around. He is doing an excellent job of ignoring it!

Any ideas or suggestions?

Carry him, or bribe with treats half way along??

My cocker spaniel would rather not go out, unless I lift her in, she's been like it since a puppy smile

Treats have not worked yet.. Will try again when the ramp is just a thing rather than new.

He's a tad chunky to lift in, and is not much keen on it.

Wrap the ramp in the blanket you've got on the sofa?

Bribing never works for our two with something like this - they instantly get suspicious and think it's some sort of trap! Far better to just use the lead and walk them up it assertively, after 3 or 4 times he probably won't even hesitate.
