Our dalmation is aging.

He had a grade 6 heart murmur and is on vetmedin due to an enlarged heart. During the heat he started coughing with fluid in his lungs so is now on Furosemide.

His wee control was already a bit off so he could not stop once started. This seems to have progressed to inside the house today - even with the back door open. Not a fan, although daughters boyfriend even less so as he walked into it..

Is this something we have to live with? Grateful for ideas?

One of our elderly male dogs was on Propalin for urinary incontinence. Obviously you'd need to ask your vet whether it's compatible with your dog's medication and heart condition.

Belly bands, we got some from this company when our elderly retriever had a vestibular episode.
