Solensia needs to be kept refrigerated.

I ordered some of this and it arrived by 24 hour post this afternoon in a big padded bag. I didn't hear the doorbell ring so it was about 30 mins before I found the parcel by the back door (in the shade). That was OK; however when I opened it up, I saw that the small box of product had slipped out from between the two cold packs and was resting next to them in the woolly insulation. The box felt slightly cool but not fridge temperature. I put it in the fridge immediately.

It may be nothing to worry about, but the worst case scenario is that the pack slipped out when it was posted so it might have been like that for 24 hours. Should I be concerned? If Solensia gets too warm does it simply lose efficacy, or more importantly can it do harm?

Sorry, not a vet, but have you contacted the supplier to see whether they will replace (and send in better packaging)?

Yes, they responded quickly asking for more details and am waiting to hear back.

No vet should be using this dangerous drug. The maker is being taken to court in several countries.

I'd rather take advice from a vet not social media; there seems to be a bit of 'MMR/antivax' going on.

I have seen myself what it's done to our poor Snowy. It started with the very common lesions on and weak back legs, then loss of fur, inappropriate toileting, confusion/dementia, poor eyesight.

With so much smoke out there, there is definitely a fire. You owe it to your patients to research it and also explain the possible side effects. I believe the side effects are omitted from the UK instructions.
