Bump on our podenco's head
Discussion
This is Corrina (Cori) the podenco:

My wife and I took her in from a charity in April this year. She's settled better than we could have hoped and we're very happy with her.

She is estimated to be about a year and a half old, demonstrates enthusiasm, playfulness, boundless energy, generally seems healthy. Was given a clean bill of health by a vet the week we took her in, and she hasn't been back since. She's on the recommended flea/worming schedule etc, so it hasn't seemed necessary.
But she has an odd bump on the top of her head which we noticed shortly after we took her, and it's started to bother me. Highlighted in red below because it's quite hard to see under her fur:

It hasn't changed size or shape in months. It doesn't seem to cause her pain. It's not hard and she doesn't flinch if you push it or move it slightly while stroking her head.
But... what the hell is it? Cyst, some other kind of growth? I don't want to take her to the vet and come away £100+ lighter to be told it's not a problem. But I'd love to know if anyone has seen anything similar and whether it's cause for concern, in which case I'll take the hit gladly

Take her to the vet, do you have pet plan or similar medical insurance?

I think it would be difficult to diagnose from photos.
If you are worried it will need a visit to the vet
Lovely looking girl

She is beautiful, but only a vet can tell you whether it is or is not something to worry about. Lumps are notoriously difficult to identify. I've had dogs with various lumps and bumps. All have been checked by the vet; some have been nothing to worry about (Lipomas) but still needed a fine needle aspiration to diagnose. Others have needed removing by freezing or surgery. Not something I would mess around with, particularly on the head.
