I didn't expect that answer, but it makes sense in hindsight ....
Last autumn we lost all of our pond fish in one night.
The pond was netted, a net with the odd hole in it,
and whatever got in had to be fairly weighty as it knocked over a tower
of bricks on which was a marginal pond plant.
