At the moment we are plagued with a number of cats, and given the weather at present doubt if they are chipped/or even from a loving home.

Whilst i am not the worlds no. 1 cat fan i was wandering the best way to deal with them.. Try and trap them......the old stick and box routine them and take them to a cat shelter, or is there a better way?

Are they feral or just strays? A stray can be adopted; a feral cat is much harder.

Talk to your local cat rescue places and charities.

Stick and box or borrow a trap from your local rescue..

Strays can be rehomed

Ferals go to rescues who then send them to farma. Farms like to get fresh cats because their own colony can quickly be inbred.

Ring cats protection DO NOT ring rspca who will simply euthanise them. Cats protection can usually rehome them on farms and stables etc.
