Lovely lot there smile.

I had a couple of hooded rats (ex rescue always so many need rehoming) but no decent pics of them as was quite a while ago now.

Will have more one day, once son old enough to appreciate them. Amazing characters but too short lived.

i'm rat free at the moment after scarface died a few weeks ago.

the good news is i'm getting a pair of males off a friend when they're old enough so be rehomed.
the place isnt the same without some rats about.

Rats make superb pets. They are way more intelligent than other small animals. We had two males, Tom and Jerry smile , sadly no longer with us. I'd love to convert our garden shed into a giant rat cage/run, but my wife won't have it.

I've had several rats before him but he is something else. He is an escaper like no other and we just cannot take our eyes off him for fear of losing him. He has managed to get himself in between the upstairs floor boards and had to stake out a small hole in the bathroom for 3 hours. Nice to have a rat with a personality though.

awww haha!

sounds like one of ours, she is houdini of all rats! and so full of character, we once had to cut holes in the back of the newly fitted kitchen cupboards to retrieve one of them! little buggers!! but so much character and fun!

They look lovely Mubby. Have you weighed any of them at all?

I am interested to know as I have just got rats for the first time. 6 boys! smile

I weighed one after getting them home and he was about 75g. Really small! They are up to about 90g now though. smile

I thought I'd try and get a couple of pics of Bill and Ted to put up.

First effort
What's this then?

Cuddle time.

Ted on his hammock

He can still see us!

Ok, We give in. We'll pose.

Bill is the one with the white stripe on his head and Ted has the brown stripe on his back.

Quick Video of them having a wander about upstairs.
