Sun and warm - now but not too far
Discussion
A couple of hours is two so Spain or Mallorca. These can also be hit and miss though as while we were sweltering, a friend went to Benidorm where it rained all week.
More guaranteed sunshine comes around 4 hours away with Cyprus and the Canaries but Southern Spain around Almeria (Roquetas de Mar, Mojacar) is classed as desert and it's always been nice when we've gone provied you don't go up into the mountains where it can be more changeable.
We got lucky with Mallorca in April so May should be a reasonable bet and for my money offers the best variety of beaches and scenery.

Yep, im popping over to Mercia this weekend.
I recommend the Murcia coast road down from San Javier aiport and drop off in Calabardina - a little treasure in the middle of nowhere.
Anyway at least the weather looks good for the weekend
