A really quick question guys - I'm flying down to Gatwick tonight with Easy jet. I'm only taking hand luggage. Question is, can I take a suit in its protector as well as my small case? The Easyjet site says I can take an overcoat, umbrella, shawl or poly bag with duty free but doesn't stipulate what I want to carry. I don't want to mash it up in my wee case. But I don't want delayed/charged either. In your experience, will I get away with it?

Help!

Id say No. They have got really hot on this recently. I fly twice a week with sleasyjet and they have just started with a spate of €40 fines at the gate if you have more than 1 piece of luggage / or its too big.

If you can put it in your case untill you get past the gate crew and then get it out again you will probably be ok.. but then it will get screwed up for a little while

Thanks LP, I think I'll just need to wear the suit and stuff the protector in my luggage, then change down there.
