I moved to Delhi a month ago, and we're taking advantage of our new location by going to Goa for a week in June.

Any recommendations from anyone who has been there?

Looking for hotels, which areas are nicest, what there is to see/visit etc.

It's only a £80 flight for us, so we're happy to go £150+/night for the hotel.

Thanks all!

in the run uo to the monsoon this is not a great option, try Goa starting in OCT not now.
As to what to expect.
It is expat heaven (not just uk) but also after Agra the most expensive place to holiday in India
Am excluding Mumbai and Dheli for costs on a night out which are outrageous
But they are business places

I would recommend this hotel:

Vivanta by Taj, Fort Agauda, Goa

Good location, nice clean rooms, helpful staff and great food.
It is just over an hour from the airport and transfers are included.

I lived in India for years. Goa in June's a waste of time. Head North instead. try Kulu-Manali valley.

Seconded - the best place I went to in Goa, albeit 4 years ago now.
