Looking to book flights to Perth (aus) and it seems to be a choice between Singapore and Malaysia airlines, traveled with Singapore before but this was 5+ years ago. So wondering if anyone has recommendations between the two? Will be flying economy.
Thanks.

Have a look at Qantas, they're cheapest and will get you there with a short stop over if that's what you're after.

Emirates get loads of good reviews but i've never flown them and you end up spending 10+ hours waiting in Dubai.

BA are pretty similar in price to Qantas too as they code-share flights.

Have a look at www.opodo.co.uk

Singapore all the way, try and get on the A380 for the leg to Singapore itself, Malaysia Airlines has really gone down hill over the last couple of years in my opinion.

Not rubbish, I was being conservative. On the Lon-Aus routes you do stop over in Dubai for 10 hours + generally, arriving Dubai in the evening and leaving at 2-3am.

I did search a little more on their site though and there is a flight that arrives at around midnight and leaves around 3am so this might be worth looking at. Perth is only 10.5 hrs from Dubai and Dubai only 6 hrs from London so seems like a comfortable flight length on both legs.

Thanks for the replies, leaning towards Singapore airlines. From what I remember the inflight entertainment was quite good, is this still the case?

There are 2 Emirates flights into Perth a day. One gets in after midnight Perth time...the other one late afternoon, early evening. Singapore come in twice a day and occasionally 3. Qantas about the same. Both would obviously involve plane changes in Singapore. Air Asia X also fly there daily if you want to go cheap. Cathay are daily as are Malaysian.
