Where to Stay in the Cotswolds?

Following the birth of our baby 17 weeks ago we are looking for a few days away not too far from Cambridge.

So the brief is, 2 Adults, a young baby and a dog, somewhere quiet with nice scenery and walks but not much more than a couple of hours away.

The Cotswolds seems ideal but not sure where in the Cotswolds? ive heard Tetbury is lovley? Can anyone recommend a nice holiday cottage?

Blockley is nice place. Can get busy, but plenty of places to escape the people.
