Afternoon all.

I need to go to Berlin on Business next week for a couple of nights....
I would be interested to hear recommendations for hotels...

Will be flying to Tegel and wanted to stay reasonably centrally to maximise what's in reach in the short time so to speak...

Both the airport and the plant I'm visiting are north west of centre so not having to cross the centre first thing in the morning would be an advanctage I'd have thought....

Let's say £100 as a starting point for the budget per night...

I don't plan on hiring a car as I have learned they are most often more hassle that they're worth, and I am a reasonably adept U-Bahn user!!

Thanks very much !!

Nick.

Check out the Pestana Berlin. We haven't been yet (going next week), but if the reviews of other Pestana hotels are anything to go by, you'll be happy! It's 99 euro per night for a standard room.

We stayed in a really nice new built hotel in Berlin called the Hotel Amano.

We were on a weekend away, and there was a good mix of tourists and business people alike staying here.

We would DEFINATELY recommend you at least consider it!

Oh, and there was a great pizza/currywurst kiosk just down the road!!
