Going up with my girlfriend on the 6th and 7th of August. Was originally planning on staying at Applecross Inn, but fully booked. Then seen the Torridan Inn. Fully booked. So can anyone recommened somewhere similar? Will likely be going to Applecross on second night for food anyway.

Also what roads should I take? I'll be coming from Glasgow. Would I be best going past Loch Lommand and turn right or Should I go Oban way? Im going to be trying the Brealach na Ba.

If heading Oban way, why not try The Pierhouse Hotel, Port Appin......

Torvaig house on Skye is nice, you'll see some nice views on your way there. Take the ferry one way and the bridge the other. Or the other ferry!

Both look really nice, but I am planning on heading further north and staying main land I'm afraid.

This
there are quite a few B&Bs in the town or the hotel.
It also has palm trees along the shore.

Had a very pleasant stay in a mobile home on a croft in Wester Ross. Just say if you want to know more.
