Kiddie friendly break, any ideas?

We're looking at ideas for a break next year, probably around April - June although that is flexible. Our son will be 1 year old next March.

So any PH'ers recommended destinations, resorts etc. Preferably european although open to ideas.

I had been planning a euro road trip to take in Germany and Northern Italy over a period of 2 weeks but I don't think it's fair to have a young child in a car doing 2000+ miles... In the same regard something like Eurodisney will probably be wasted on a kid that age?
