Flying in to London fro weekend...(riots or not)..pub advice

I booked a dinner in a place called Pollen St Social for Sat night, but looking for a waterside pub for Sunday...any suggestions?.......staying at Park Lane Hotel and have no car, so not way out in the outskirts, ( or Tottenham, for the manner).......any thoughts appreciated. Something a bit traditional with some good beer would be perfect.

The closest to your requirement would be The Prospect of Whitby, on Wapping Wall.
Slightly out of central, but I'm sure you could get there(or close by) on the bus/tube. Well worth it.
