Same parent company as Thomson and First Choice, amongst others.

They are part of one of, if not the, biggest travel company in the UK. It's one of their premium brands. Be mindful that for every holiday company people compliment there is somebody who will moan about them and people are far more prone to moan online than they are to write good things.

I'd be more concerned about researching the places you are staying that being concerned about Hayes and Jarvis.

AFAIK they are a decent company, I've never had any problems travelling with them (twice) or doing business with them.

Hope this helps.

Yep they're one of the biggest out there specialising in long haul destinations in the main. I'd go DIY in my experience 99% of the time it's cheaper and you're not tied to one of a few hotels.

Hayes & Jarvis are a premium brand of Thomson etc as mentioned above. I'm not sure if this is a good or bad thing and, also as mentioned, you can't please everyone all the time.

If you are going to spend a few bob on a honeymoon I'd suggest a look at the Trailfinders website. They have looked after me and Mrs Ghost for 15 years now and we have only had one problem with a hotel that was resolved (we moved hotels) in 12 hours. Given the issue was in Malaysia I was impressed.

If you do see a hotel and/or location you like do a few Google searches for "deals at xxxxx", "hotels in xxxxx" etc and you might be pleasantly surprised at some of the links that come up offering packages etc.

As always make sure you pay by credit card and the travel agent has all the necessary ATOL, IATA, ABTA certificates etc.
