The ferry's booked Friday, I'm in a hotel for Friday night in Le Mans, but nothing booked Sat to Sat as above. Has anyone here got anything of interest or know of anything? Thanks to all in advance of numerous responses - quick!

Stayed in a fabulous farmhouse just outside St Emillion about this time last year. Mrs C handled the booking & she's gone to bed but I'll see if she's got the details in the morning.

Looks nice, but a bit too expensive for mid-September

This is the one - its called Le Peyrat

Its owned by an English couple who live next door. If you go for it, they'll recommend you an amazing chef who'll come in and cook for you. Well worthy doing at least once

Sorry hadn't read Bus Pass's thread before, just seen it now! Enough to put you of going to France? Er, no, I'm still going, still going to thoroughly enjoy the country, the food, the wine, the scenery and (hopefully) the people. I've always thought after numerous trips across Le Manche that the "surly Frogs" was in the main a myth, and I still believe it's so. Still haven't booked anywhere though, and it's getting mighty close!
