S/C Lake District Cottage - Flexible with dates/duration?

Hi,

Can anyone help? I'm after taking the missus and 10 month old away to the lakes for a couple of nights back end of next week. Most of the Lakes self catering cottage sites only list breaks for Fri/Sat + 3 nights or week long stays.

I'm after either Thursday 22nd - Saturday 24th (2 nights) or Friday 23rd to Sunday 25th so proving difficult to find?!

I could do to find somewhere self catering that lets late notice on a night by night basis. We have a similar spot in my local village where the missus's family come and stay and they charge nightly for some s/c cottages. So there must be some in the Lakes!!

Area wise ideally close to Kewick/Windermere would be ideal. If anyone knows of anything please let me know.

Might be worth your while calling Cumbrian Cottages/Heart of the lakes as if they have a property un-let they do sometimes do deals. we have in the past.
