I don't know where to go next..

I've been to:-

France
Germany
Italy
Spain
Portugal
Hungary
Czech Republic
Netherlands
Tunisia
South Africa
Canada
South West USA
Hong Kong
Vietnam
Mexico
Cambodia
Southern Thailand
Barbados
Jamaica
St Lucia
Virgin Islands
Sweden

2 weeks means I feel Australia / New Zealand / South of South Americas too far away.

I'd been thinking Indonesia / Singapore, Madagascar, North West USA, Northern Thailand. Any where else obviously missing I should take a look at?

Cuba is one we'd thought about, is it spoilt already?

I just have a thing about people going on about how marvellous it is now. It's a fking communist dictatorship stuck in a time warp. I think holidaying there is tantamount to voyeurism and supports a cack-brained megalomaniac. (just my opinion, YMMV and it's your money)

I hear there are now cruises to North Korea.

I know a few people who have been to Cuba in the last decade and they have praised it and said people are all very friendly and welcoming to tourists as they are a good source of income. If you are improving the people's situation by visiting that has to be good surely?

Madgascar or Iceland

both places vlew the socks off everywhere else we've been (ie your list pretty much biggrin)

don't expect it to be cheap, or a relaxing beach holidy (although madagascar has some stunning beaches)

I would recommend Syria, but a bit of local bother out there right now. Jordan ( Petra, Eadi Rum, Jerrash. Aqaba diving)?

Or combine one week in Israel (Jerusalem, Haifa,Galilee, Negev, Eilat, Massada)), one week in Jordan

All good suggestions :-). One place missing that I have been wondering about are the Greek islands, any advise for visiting them?

YMMV, of course. I wouldn't visit if you paid me to.

Austria, Denmark, Kenya, Oman, Qatar, Russia, Wales, Yemen and Zambia.

Then you will have done the whole a - z and you get a badge.

Oman, Qatar and Yemen would be doable in 2 weeks.
