We stayed at the Calabash Hotel several years ago: possibly one of the best places we've ever stayed.

Recommend a meal at La Luna Hotel: seriously exclusive and they may offer you something interesting to smoke after your meal!

Also there's a great bayside bar called Stuart's Bar: you'll probably find it on Goggle.

We did find the island pretty uninteresting, but the hotel we were at made up for it.

I went about 14yrs ago. Superb place.

Lots to do on the main island, and then you can boat hop to see plenty more if you're bored.

I was there last year, December. Had a great time.

You are bound to be approached on the beach an offered and Island Tour - maybe by Dexter! He's a bit of a geezer but the tour he sorted out was excellent. You can see the best bits of the island in a day easily. Rain forrest, rum factory, chocolate plantation, St Georges (on market day). If you arrange one on a Friday you could also do 'fish friday' in Gouyave. The old airport is also worth a look.

Some of the best diving in the Caribbean too. If you get the right school and are confident they will take you out to a 20m dive after an hour in the pool. Shark reef or Purple Rain reefs are good.

Where are you staying?
