We usually stay at The Berkeley however I fancy a change and due to the large choice and trip advisor leaving me with a headache I thought I would seek some first hand experience here......
Prefer one with a good lively hotel bar.

Thanks.

Having looked at The Berkeley's website, I cannot see why you would want to stay elsewhere to be honest!

WOW that was quick, was hoping for slightly more constructive offerings... But thanks for your attempt at humour.

Its a good hotel and probably will unless I get some thoughts here.

Afraid I can't help as I don't know London at all. If you don't want to stay there again you could always pay for me to stay there instead wink

The Connaught is really nice and owned by the same group. Mount street is a great location, calmish but still plenty to do. I'm sure you've been to Scott's and the Audley pub usually has some decent ales on. The room with the window at the front is a great place to sit and they've got a great new tea menu.

Alternatively you could try the new w hotel. The bar is definitely buzzing and I've heard its a very nice place to stay. It just depends if you're comfortable staying right by Leicester square. The modern interiors are amazing though

The Connaught is nice but very corporate, try The Soho just off Oxford Street / Dean St, really really nice, large loft style rooms, exposed brickwork, not old school and not new money stark ....
