Train tickets, same price on thursday morning as today?
Discussion
I have to go back up to London from my lovely Dorset fire side drinking Christmas setting and have decided since I am coming back to a party on the Friday night it would be better to get the train up and down rather than drive.
Checked last week and the price was £53 return, checked today and it is still the same price. How can I find out if I should get the today or wait til Thursday morning ?
Only reason I am hesitant to get them is I doubt they will arrive here in time and I have no idea if the tiny station at wareham will let me pick them up at 7.30am.
So what is the chance of the price going up in the 2 days ? or how can I find out ? 2 days male a difference?

In my experience - and don't shoot me if I turn out to be wrong! - it doesn't make any difference if you buy them now, or at the station, at least at this short notice. Maybe if you buy them a month or so in advance there is.
If it concerns you, can't you buy online and collect from the ticket machine at the station?

You mean picking up the tickets you bought online? It's simple, you just go to the ticket machine at the station and key in your booking reference, and it will print the tickets for you. If there's a ticket machine there you should be able to do this, I think if not then the website should tell you - best just to call them and find out really.

Cheers guys.
I went and rang them ( don;t know why it is easy to write a topic on a forum than just ring but it is ! ), lovely lady in India confirmed that the price will be the same.
Also booking tickets is just as said above, you can pick them up from the ticket machine like cinema tickets, pre book, bring the same card, done. Also solves my worry about the ticket office being shut at that time and not being able ot pick them up.
Just looked into car parking for the two days in Wareham, closed my eyes, bent over and ....... £2.50 a day ! god I have to hurry up and move out of London.
Thanks guys

I just picked some up half an hour ago from my local station, so this is 'recent' information.
