1Week free in Feb, 1k to spend.

Hi, I Just came into an unexpected grand, so thought I would treat Mrs Wildcat to a little holiday.

Dates have to be 12th to 19th Feb.

Ideally I want to fly from Newcastle, but Edinburgh Glasgow Sheff etc is fine. and I want some sun.

I guess for £1k ie £500PP I wont get much, but we are not looking for a kid based holiday or an 18 -30 type trip.

Self catering, hotel, whatever, I'm not fussed. Just a chance for a bit of warmth and relaxation in an interesting place with nice bars, places to eat.

Just looking for inspiration.

The obvious package deals in that price-range which will be warm-enough in Feb are the Canaries or Sharm el Sheikh.

City break? Anywhere outside the Euro-zone right now...although wrap-up warm! Could head north somewhere to see the Aurora...
