Marmaris in July?

Well basically this, I'm planning a holiday for me and some friends and marmaris has been mentioned a few times. So just wondering if anyone has been?. A little background it will be a group of 19 year old boys.
So just really want to know about nightlife, beaches, costs and any other stories you may have of it.

Haha, why's that?. I'll also add that we would like to do other stuff like jet skiing, quad biking ect.

Gumbet's not bad either if you want a Magaluf style holiday. 2 miles of late 90s dance music, horny women and free shots.

July is a bloody hot time to go though.
