Stag Do location
Discussion
Howdy,
Having my stag do this year and so far me and the best man have been looking at Bratislava for a weekend of drinking and shooting with a strip club or something chucked in. Looking to spend around £300-400 for the flights, accomodation and activities. Then extra for beer, trying to keep the costs down due to basically all of my lads buying houses or saving for houses etc.
Any ideas for places I havn't considered? Really want to go to Eastern Europe but we won't be wearing matching Polo shirts with "Funny" names etc. Basically just want a weekend which isnt going to cost the earth with lots of good beer and food.
Thanks in advance,

+1 on Prague, went in 2007 so prices might have increased slightly but not too much
we didnt go on a stag do, just a 'lads holiday' so to speak with about 5 mates age range 22-26ish
Firstly, its a stunning city and so are about 70% of the local women![wink](/inc/images/wink.gif)
theres a famous clock tower right in the centre, AVIOD eating and drinking because its very expensive but most other places range from reasonable to dirt cheap.
Local supermarket was charging about 16p(pence!!!)for a can of staropramen (4%)and £5 for a bottle of premium local vodka. So it is worth all your effort finding somewhere similar
Theres a famous old bridge (charles bridge) that connects another part of the city. on the side you will be on there is a HUGE nightclub with 5 levels and each level is split in 2. it was either eastern europes largest nightclub or possibly the biggest in all of europe. it was around £5 entry and £3 a beer, however pre warn everybody before hand just how big it is as its very likely you will all lose each other
stripclubs generally worked out at £10 entry with a few free drinks. one included 6 pints for that price and there must of been 15-20 stunning strippers there![smile](/inc/images/smile.gif)
They love absinthe, pop into a local bar that has a wide range and find out why![wink](/inc/images/wink.gif)
Some taxi's can be abit dodgy and sometimes not even taxi's!(as i found out)and charge you 2/3 times the rate so best not to travel alone in one

I went to Wroclaw (Poland)a few years back for a stag weekend. Think there was about 15 of us.
It had all you needed for that type of weekend. We pre booked some activities for our arrival. Can't remember the web site, possible the one linked below.

Edited to add, we did the Karting/nightclub package. Great fun, but seeing the list, had i organised it, might have chosen another package lol

Er - that is no way keeping costs down! 8<... around £300-400 for the flights, accomodation and activities. Then extra for beer, trying to keep the costs down due to basically all of my lads buying houses or saving for houses etc.
Thanks in advance,
My stag do cost 10% of that including drinks and included accomodation (admittedly camping.)
We went on a brewery crawl and had a day watching motor racing.
No matching polo shirts either and an excellent couple of days. A bit like a mini Le Mans.

If you have mates who are on a budget and are saving for house deposits then spending getting on for a grand on a weekend of drinking and strippers is not a cheap weekend.

We were in real ale breweries. Not sure they would have served tap water. If it was it was rather beery tasting.

I see your point, it's always been agreed abroad was ok so I think people are expecting a few hundred. I know others who have done vegas etc but I guess I meant a midi price stag.
