Lulworth Accommodation
Discussion
Hi all. Not my normal regional forum but thought I'd ask here if anyone from the Dorset area could recommend some decent accommodation in the Lulworth area? I'm only looking for a single night break to take the girlfriend away for her birthday at the start of February.
I liked the look of The Castle Inn in Lulworth but unfortunately their website says that it's closed during Jan & Feb for it's annual refurbishment. I'm probably going to book in at the Lulworth Cove Inn instead but before I bite the bullet has anyone got any experience or comments they could share? Many thanks.

There's Lookout Caravan Park in Wareham that I find to be good.
I don't know if they do one nighters but no harm in asking them.

Scotts Arms in Kingston, a few mile along the coast, is nice, good restaurant/pub food. Can walk to the coast path if you want to.

+1 on this, although it can be a bit of a trek if the range road is shut.http://thescottarms.com/

Tyneham has a TravelLodge IIRC.
It does not !!!although a parish its a ghost town often closed with no access when MOD are operating at lulworth army ranges , you still have to check if the area is open , normally this time of year the MOD are testing
closed 21 and 22 January 2012
