So, I have some of these, 2x events on a Sunday.

I assume there will be sufficient travel arrangements to get me to London on the Sunday morning, or do i need to think about accommodation???

Im only 2-3hrs away...

I would travel the day before, I know transport within the area of the games is being looked at quite heavily but doubt that will extend much further. That aside, I wouldn't trust them to get me there on days when so many people will be around.

Seriously, I wish you the very best of luck with this.
I live in Islington and I'd be allowing about 2-3 days to get to one of the venues come Olympic time.

They do within London. What they don't guarantee is the availability of enough transport!

I will be travelling down on the day by train for my events. I am in Cardiff, so it should be easy enough smile

I'm sure there will be a lot of transport, it's not exactly something they're going to want to be a major issue is it?

Don't listen to all the moaners, it's just what the people of PistonHeads like to do.

Just been doing some research as we have some tickets for athletics and some other events in the Olympic park. Found out the park & ride for the Olympic park is at Lakeside in Essex not very handy for me in Dorset!
