Driving around Europe

Hi

I qam looking at doing a road trip this summer and are looking for suggestions for routes to take around Europe? Famous old race tracks/locations(Mille Miglia, etc), roads etc to visit or drive.

There is a fantastic book with old and new photographs of all the old racetracks in europe.

Its worth hunting out for ideas, but I'm dammed if i can remember what its called sorry.

To be fair once you are off the UK roads you will see how cramped for space we are in the UK, as France is just huge and you can skip through it quickly.

If you are going to Italy then you will need a stop over, Dijon area or Geneva can be good.

Italy is not as bad as people say, drivers are confident but as long as you are it will be fine. My only issue was a near miss with a van turning into the Lamborghini factory, he kinda drove at me.

You will however spend more on tolls than you can imagine, it's not cheap, and nor is driving through Mt blanc, driving over is a more fun option though.
