Skiing in the Andes?

Am thinking of planning an adventure to South America and thought while there would skiing be possible?
Im naive to any skiing more south than Heavenly in the USA.

So anyone know or recommend ?

Also would four weeks be a sensible time to cover most of the Peru and Inca trails?

Portillo in Chile is apparently awesome. Some of the best powder, and I believe a lot of the pros ski there in the off season.

I'm looking for some real challenging runs and many of... I much prefer reds or nice blues for the fun. But epically hard sheer blacks... Oh yea fear of god in me at the start of them but then the satisfaction of doing them
