Marrakech and the Atlas Mountains...advice please!
Discussion
My wife and I are off to Marrakech at the end of March, spending 4 nights in Marrakech and then off to the Atlas Mountains for 3 days.
We are planning a tour of the Medina / Souk and our hotel is offering a cookery lesson. In addition I am hoping to play the new Assoufid golf course.
We were also considering a ballon ride.
Any other recommendations for activities or places to eat?
Thanks

Make you have dinner at Dar marjana. It's in the walls of the old city - fantastic. I think Chouki is still running it. Always worth booking too....

Lunch at La Marmounia, there's also a decent Trent Jones course at Palmerae.
Enjoy.

Tizntest pass is a must do
Absolutely.. Have a saffron omlet at the cafe at the top and as much mint tea as you can drink. When you are in the city, you will be found by a local who for 20 Euro will show you around and introduce you to special deals no one else can match. Haggle if you are going to buy anything - I knew someone who bought a carpet almost identical to the one I got for maybe 200 GBP for the initial askign price of 1200.
