Hi all,

I'm sure there are a few anglers on PH but rather than post this in the Sports section I thought I would pop this on here as it'd probably get better responses. (Mods, if you could leave this in the Holiday section it would be appreciated)

We'll be in Miami (South Beach) in a couple of months time and whilst I'm not what you'd describe as a keen fisherman, I do like to fish every so often and I've always loved the idea of Deep Sea Fishing. Can anyone recommend a company that would be willing to take you out on their boat for a half day?

There will be 5 of us in total ranging from the completely inexperienced to the slightly less inexperienced. I've read that as it's quite a popular tourist location that there are quite a few parties/groups that go fishing without any prior experience so this would be ideal.

From searching online it appears as though there are several companies that offer this kind of service by either taking you in a big party with other people or by chartering a boat for upto 6 people.

Would anyone be able to recommend a company that they've experienced before or perhaps even steer me away from using an particular companies?

A better idea would be to drive down to the Keys and get a charter boat out from there, hooking a Marlin off the keys will put a huge smile on your face!

The girlfriend and I are heading to the Keys and leaving the rest of the group in South Beach but we'll only be there for two days and we have alot to do. Besides, I don't think she'd appreciate a nice romantic fishing trip. biglaugh
