What was your favourite holiday ever and why?

Lately Ive been trying to find all my old memory cards from previous cameras in view of rescuing the photos of holidays of old! Its brought back a lot of good memories. 
Even though Ive had some wonderful times with the family on holiday since, I have to confess that my favourite holiday overall was when I backpacked around a few of the Greek Cyclades Islands with two friends at the youthful age of 21! We landed at Crete and then from there ferried to Santorini, Ios, Naxos and Paros. It was truly excellent. The second time Id ever been abroad (I rarely mention the first time; France - two weeks of heavy rain in August!!), it was the whole doing what we wanted, when we wanted (nothing was booked except for the flights), everything was soooo cheap (equiv. of £20 would see all three of us eating three courses with drinks!), weather, scenery, people, food, accomodation were all amazing and being with my best two friends just made it totally complete.
