Villatania Golf Resort, Benidorm
Discussion
Morning one and all.
Just a quick enquiry!
Myself and my golf society are off to The Villatania resort beginning of May for four days and I was wondering if anybody has been and anything we should know about!
Think the plan is to play the golf in the afternoon and head in to Benidorm for the evening a few times - never been here either.....! Heard a few tales though...! (oh and we are 40's and 50's so no clubbing really!)
Thanks in advance!

My family has a place out near Benidorm, it's a great place!
Yes, it does have a LOT of english bars, fry ups, lager louts and string vests BUT, they also have the old town which is easily found sort of in the centre of town by the beaches..
Parking anywhere is a bit of a nightmare though, they love towing cars away and the signs aren't always clear what areas are ok to park in..
We found a great underground car park which was 20 secs from the old town, and was very reasonable (I can show you where on a map if you want?)
The old town has a relaxed feel to it, most of the roads are pedestrian only and there are some great tapas bars where they will speak english and explain it all to you...
If you want nightclubs, cheap beers and Sticky Vicky, then head down towards 'Chaplins' or follow the noise! - Even if it's your idea of hell, one night down the 'english strip' is a must
The only other thing I will say is, WEAR YOUR SEATBELT in Spain, the guardia civil love nothing more than taking holiday makers money from them on the side of the road.. Trust me, you'll only do it once!
