3 hours to kill in Amsterdam.

I fly out to Amsterdam tomorrow afternoon by myself and have about 3 hours to kill.

Never been before so have no idea what to expect. Any ideas on what to do?

NB. It's a work trip so no bottle or legal, illegal substances please

Sorry, completely misread the topic title, I thought it said "3 hours to kill an American." I was going to say don't rush, take your time and enjoy it.

3 hours in the city centre. Flight arrives at 4pm and have until 8.30 to kill. Taking getting my luggage/train into city centre into consideration I guessed I would have 3ish hours to kill..

To be more accurate I've actually got up until 10/11pm to kill but I'm meeting a friend at 8:30.

If its three hours in the city the Heineken museums quite good. And/or a canal boat ride is relaxing, brilliant way to have a kip on a stagger.

Well enough time for a schmoke and a beer then head down to the flower market where there's the shop that sells the mushrooms, you'll be literally flying in every sense of the word at 8.30.

do a couple of lines in the toilet, before stealing said go-kart and heading in to town, wking yourself stupid on the way
arrive at said red light area, dump go kart in canal, drop some tabs, and start checking out the windows, find a suitable american looking/sounding tom, agree a price, (that your not going to have to pay) go in, have half an hour bouncing round the room with said yank brass, then murder her
you can then freely post in the commercial break section on here, as all truck drivers are drug fuelled murderers of prostitutes.

Although the heliport I'm going through at 6am Wed morning is no tolerance I'm afraid =/ I'd like to keep my job haha. Upon my return from offshore I might have night free in Amsterdam for some shinanigans!

If its a sunny Spring day, then you can kill three hours just walking around - its a beautiful city.

All of the 'go up in smoke', 'take mushrooms' and 'visit hookers' remarks make me laugh. PH - where kidding-on that youre middle class, whilst actually being a bit dirty and common counts.

Epic, I'll keep this in mind for the way home! Bar the drug taking and murdering
