I am trying to put together a 4 night ski trip over New Year and it is proving a bit of a challenge. Most hotels/chalets require a minimum 7 nights for this period and the only option I have found is in Brides Les Bains.

Two questions

Has anyone any experience of this resort?

Has anybody got any other suggestions?

Thanks

It's not really a ski resort. It's a small thermal spa resort in the valley that has a cable-car link up to the mountain. There are a couple of hotels, bars and restaurants otherwise you're best off staying up the hill.

Try staying another 3 days.

Going with Skiweekends by any chance? I stayed in Bride-les-bains and la tania. As the guy abvove says BLB is very quiet and not really a resort as such. La Tania is further up the mountain and a bit more lively and has that "ski holiday" feel.

Try these guys, i stayed with them in November last year and though they were pretty good. Not sure what their setup is over xmas though.

Thanks for the info. From what you have both said i decided BLB was not best suited for us.

I have now managed to get a three night deal in Les Gets with flight times that should give us 3.5 days skiing.
