newbie tips on booking a campsite in france (montpellier)?
Discussion
hi guys,
i've recently had some great tips on this forum with a holiday i'm planning for this year & wondered if any seasoned euro-campers could help....
we're looking at including a campsite break in a euro-tour this summer in montpellier. arriving the 3rd of august until the 6th.
ideally we'd like something pre-erected, either a tent of a small chalet type thing.
2 adults only
it's in the middle of a driving tour so somewhere to relax really, bit of a pool or close to a beach. we're not seasoned campers but we thought it'd be a bit of a laugh
i'm struggling to find any camping search engine sort of thing-i expected there to be a camping version of booking.com or similar but maybe i'm asking too much?!
any tips or recommendations?

You may struggle to find anyone who will book you a pitch for less than a week in peak high season, however.
I was beginning to wonder this actually. May not be a problem depending on price I guess however we can realisticly stay in a hotel with a pool in Montpellier for circa €350 for the same amount of time....Gassing Station | Holidays & Travel | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
