Dear PHers,

I'm looking to book a couple of nights away in Snowdonia and wondered if anyone had any recommendations for nice B&B's in a pretty setting?

Ta very Much,

Matt

You could try The George HOtel, in Dolgellau.
I haven't stayed there but been there for drinks dinner etc many, many times over the last 10 years and the view over the estuary is fantastic.
Worth a look anyway, I would provide the link but can't work out how to do it on this flipping iPad thing.

Loads in llanelli, which gives you the option of things to do in the evening too, without having to drive.

B+B or Hotel or does not matter? Thought of a cottage?

We stayed here a year or so ago. Very pleasant place, good price and nice people who ran it too!

Thanks for all the options guys.

doesn't really matter if Hotel or B&B. It's just me and the Mrs. so a cottage might be a waste of space. We are going to visit her teenage cousin (no pictures) who is working the summer at the Haven holiday camp on the Llyn Peninsula and she is a bit homesick. I am obviously refusing to stay in the holiday park (it's not for me) so thought we would make a mini break of it.

We have booked in here...

as tripadvisor reviews are all good. I suppose the beauty spots like Snowdon are an hours drive away so should be a nice weekend all in all (apart from the camp part).
