Heading off to Belek in September for a couple of weeks with the Mrs - can anyone recommend any trips/places to visit/etc?

I go there a couple of times a year to visit friends who live in Belek.

I go there for the golf ,but plenty to do and see.

Antalya (25 minutes drive to the airport / 35 minutes drive to the City - good for shopping , plenty of restaurants overlooking the sea, water park if you children.

Belek - bars , restaurants lots and lots of shops selling lots and lots of fake clothes & watches etc etc (Oh and they sell the real stuff also !) , not that cheap for us Brits at all...just haggle and stick to what you are prepared to
pay !

Serik - 10 minutes drive , the closest authentic old Turkish town, worth a wander around.

Kas - beautiful spot about 2-3 hours along the coast , good if you fancy a night or two away.

Manavgat - take a boat trip.

Aspendos Ampitheatre - outdoor concerts

Fantastic! Thank you. Off to look at those further.

P.S. I have read conflicting info on the best currency to take, some swear by Euros others by Lira?

Pay by Lira where possible - you get a better exchange rate.

But take Euros also.
