Can anyone recommend a family hotel for a stopover in Rouen, and is the old road circuit easy to find for a lap or two? Any advice gratefully received!

Campanile usually the right answer for families - superb food, they welcome kids and the rooms are relatively basic but clean and functional

We stayed at the novotel earlier this year - big rooms, enough space for four (two kids 9 and 7 who were on a put up beds but perfectly ok), pretty much perfect and I think it was EUR99 including breakfast (but that was off peak)

We have a place in the midi pyrenees and always stop off at the etap in Rouen as its a great half way point for us (live in Newcastle).

Its cheap, clean, pretty basic but for a quick overnight stop it ticks all the boxes.

Enjoy your hols!!!!!

Yep, the Campanile in Oissel near the A13 is full of families and is pretty cheap

Great, thanks all. Sorry mods for posting in the wrong place!

Anyone driven around the old road circuit there?

We've used this place in the past (a couple of times) and for a family it's great - kids have a mezzanine level with two single beds above the double down the little stairs. Clean & tidy and perfect for an overnighter on the way further south (half way for us, from Teesside).
You can include breakfast too.

Seems there's nothing left worth seeing of the old circuit - it's a bit of a disgrace, that.

? It was just 3 roads that formed a triangle. The roads are still there I thought.

They demolished the grandstands, pit garages etc., so it's not like Reims where there are lots of buildings left to look at.
