I am entered in the round norfolk 24 hour running relay and need somewhere to stay beforehand. The Travelodge is a bit far out in Long Sutton, I was wondering if anyone could recommend somewhere for a Friday night in mid September for the 3 of us doing it?

could try the Dukes Head..and if you need something to do a good suggestion is to memorise the surnames in the local phonebook..shouldn't take to long

Knights Hill is quite nice, but not cheap & still a longish way out. There are a couple of hotels in the town but no idea what they're like.

We have stayed in a very nice b&b called holkham cottage in Dersingham. Not sure if that's too far for you? But it's a very nice place to stay.

There is a premier inn on the A17/A47 roundabout on the way in to KL from the north. Ideal, cheap with a pub on site for food which isn't too bad. Knights hill is expensive.
