Austrian Vignette

Reminder to anyone driving in Austria you need a vignette. I know to my cost as was caught exiting the tunnel on the Austroswiss border (100kph limit in tunnel) at 104 kph where it immediately becomes an 80 kph limit. Pulled over before the border post and was fined 30 Euros for the speeding - fair enough.

What hurt though was the officer noting I had a Swiss Vignette displayed but no Austrian one. 150 Euro fine.

Ouch.
