French & Spanish data Sims

[Roger645]

OK, so road-trip through France and Spain starts soon and I have an unlocked mi-fi unit to use with my i-pad. Anyone have any recommendations for the cheapest way to buy a couple of data sims for France and Spain? There are loads on the bay of evil but wondered if anyone had tried any specific ones and found them good & cheap. Thinking that 1/2 gig for each country should be about right.

I use a Yoigo sim when in Spain, it's €1.30 a day for unlimited data, you will have to buy one from a mobile shop, you can top them up anywhere.

Edit it looks like they have changed the tarif, 500mb for €8 a month now with first month free

There is carphone warehouse shops in Spain, have a look at their Spanish website for deals
