quick question as i'd be booking via carhire3000 type site and so i don't know who the provider will be in order to ask directly.

if you hire a car with 2 additional drivers, do they also need to be there when you collect it?

all 3 of us will be arriving on different days and on different flights, but we all need to be on the insurance as it's to be used as a pool car for running errands throughout the trip.

Not sure but I suspect are drivers will need to sign the rental agreement and provide their licences. Probably best to call the rental company and ask directly as the policy is likely to differ from company to company.

Yes they need to be there, i think you can add them at a later time but you might find you'll have to pay "admin" fees for changing the rental agreement after collection.

The golden rule when booking with people like Carhire3000 is never make changes when you're at the desk, you pay through the nose.
