Actually I don't agree about the pods. OK they are an interesting experience, but seem to take for ever, plus you have to put up with the environmental brainwashing during the journey. Plus if you arrive at a busy time, when the whole system is either overloaded or having a hissy fit you still end up on a bus.

Stress free parking requires you to give these idiots your keys. Just NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Do NOT use any of the valet outfits IMVHO.

Pre book the short stay car park, dependant upon the trip it is sometimes not that much more than the Executive car park, where the pods are. On entry pick which level you want, I always chose the L1, over to the lift up to departures on L5 and you are away.

On return up one floor from departures and there you are, system recognised your car regso often don't even have to insert the ticket.

Obviously if your trip is a long one, then the short stay could get a bit pricey, but so will Exec and that leaves you with the Long Term.

Thanks for that. Pre-booked in the short stay car park. Can't be done with shuttles at 5:30 in the morning.

Given the choice I would never use any parking services where you don't park up yourself and keep the keys the entire time. I've just heard and seen too many horror stories. For the sake of a few extra £. Especially when pre-booked you can usually get reasonable deals on the short term car parks.

Best option in my option. The pods are fun but a better option is to pre-book in the short stay, gets you in/out of the terminal quicker (pre-booked price is often pretty good too).
