I'm looking for some help here so bare with me please. What are/where are the tall mountain like islands located that are often shown with chinese junks sailing around them? They're very impressive.

Ha Long Bay in Vietnam has similar landscape, there are others too.

The ones used in Tomorrow Never Dies are in http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phang_Nga_Bay, Thailand.

Very similar to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ha_Long_Bay in Vietnam, which is where Top Gear visited and I think Tomorrow Never Dies was originally going to be filmed.

If i remember correctly some of Tomorrow Never Dies was filmed in Halong Bay, Vietnam. I think The Man With the Golden Gun was Phuket Bay, Thailand.

It was on last night, and they did name it as Halong Bay.
