So long and short after a heavy night I ended up travelling by ambulance to a hospital and put on a drip.

Any ideas what this might cost?

(I know I should drink responsibly, However think my drink was spiked.)

If they try to charge, tell them "What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas!!!"

I was in Vegas last week, I bit a man, yelled the french national anthem as loud as I can, somehow I was covered in blood when I woke up (not from the bite), loads of bruises, won money in the casino somehow, couldn't see more than 6ft ahead of my by the end of the night, I remember shaking loads of peoples hands too and I remember nothing else.
My room was so bad when I woke up I left a sorry note to the cleaner/maid and a $20 tip.

But I want to go back.

A friend had a panic attack, got put on an IV drip at the Hospital, with some meds.
Not much else done apart from that, out in a couple of hours - $8k.

I went to hospital in some pain, got IV painkillers, antiobiotics, anti nausea meds, a CAT scan, out in a couple of hours - $8k, down to $1200 after insurance.

Yeah I strongly believe I had my drink spiked. I was fine and then all of a sudden don't remember anything. Have told the insurance company it was a spike! Especially as my credit card went missing and £500 was spent in the nightclub! Wouldn't of minded if I actually drunk it!

All dodgey to me!

FYI, I checked in (got admitted) at 5:45 and was out at 9:00 after having the drip. Next day wasn'y hungover just felt sick....

So, you're out of hospital and they didn't give you any discharge paperwork telling you what you were liable for? How strange.

Did you supply your details and insurance info?

I remember filling out a form to be discharged but wasn't given anything in terms of bill or paperwork like that.

They gave me an alcohol advice form and another bit of paper that had my details on it and what I'd been admitted for. Apparently they asked for a deposit off my friends although no-one had any cash.

My friends pushed them to send me home earlier as they knew the charges would be high! Hence not in there for very long!

Just leave.
They'll catch up with you if you owe them.
Either that, or next time you arrive at US Immigration, you'll get thrown straight in gaol.

I'm home now! Got back yesterday. Was slightly worried going through security they'd pull me aside but not a word! Thankfully I don't plan to go back for awhile!

thanks for the reponses!

The bill will catch up with you! They'll send it to your UK address.

I was billed $1500 to see a doc in A&E to be wrongly diagnosed for a knee injury and to get a handwritten note to say I could safely fly (which I could).

I've heard of people being knocked off bikes and telling people who stop to help NOT to call an ambulance as the cost is too high! So, you're fooked wink

Also... 'drink spiked', 'card stolen', '£500 spent'... Vegas. wink Pull the other one wink

I can tell you what it cost 7 years ago

Ambulance bill
Hospital bill
Pharmacy bill
Paramedics bill
Laboratory bill

For a total of 6 hours in Vegas hospital it came to a staggering $3000

But hey, never got billed for emptying the bus due to her bio-hazzard.

My Dad lives in the Us and he was ill last year, to the point of exhausting his $250k annual insurance limit, his drugs alone were close to $120k

Never mind the hangover or feeling sick, did your mouth taste of pillow or your arse hurt when you came round?
