Hi guys,

Please recommend me an apartment resort on the beach in Dubai. Staying 7 days with 3 year old, beach and restaurants within walking distance. Travelling Saturday, budget between £1000 -£2000 for the week

Thanks in advance

Oasis Beach Tower Apartments were excellent earlier in the year, plenty of places to eat within walking distance and taxis were fairly cheap too.

I'll ask Mrs SWH which site she booked it through, remember she managed to get the breakfast included in the normal price anyway smile

Checked with Mrs SWH and she booked directly: http://www.jaresortshotels.com/Properties/OasisBea...

Worth noting there was a load of construction work going on in front of it, I'd guess that's progressed somewhat since family SWH was in residence there in June - wasn't a problem from the 49th floor however, as they were just doing groundwork at the time.

Thanks SWH,

I will give that a look. Spent the last 3 hours messing around with flights after being let down by Expedia and their false advertising!! Funny how the great deals they offer never materialise!

No worries, hope they've got some decent offers on.

Worth trying Emirates directly for the flights too, the A380 is a decent place to while away the flight time, they were great with youngsters too, we flew with a 3yr old and a 15mth old... they both slept for a fair section of the flights smile

Be aware that there is a lot of construction work along the beachfront that will be there for some time.

I have used Hilton apartments which are pretty good if not quite up to the standards of Oasis Beach apts. Cheaper alternative would be Radisson Blu which isn't on the beachfront but lot cheaper and 5 min walk across Marina Bridge. They are good quality apartments but building work going on next door.

There are some budget options at the southern end of JBR/ Marina but nowhere near the quality of the above. Shout up if you need any more info.
