got to book 6 business class to Oz any discounts

[rogerthefish]

Large family get together at chrimbo, last minute thing as one of our oz rellies won't make next Christmas, so never had to do this, but when spending 20k I expect a discount or a hotel room for a night, tried looking for promo codes but they all appear to be fishing for email addresses without giving anything out, looked at Singapore air as seem to have best service but the price on their web site matches budgetair for instance! if I went into a traditional travel agent...would I get anything after all 20ks a lot...whats there commission?

Try going through something like AMEX travel shop or Carlson Wagonwotsit perhaps.

At least you will get a shed load of air miles for your next holiday!!

I wouldn't expect too much discount if flying to Oz at Christmas. Airlines double their prices between Nov and Dec because they know they can fill the planes even when fleecing people like you.

Start from an eu country -ex AMS on BA is good and saves a fair amount compared to just departing london, as are various others.

Finnair from HEL is also often a good deal
