Evening all, my gf and I have book 4 nights in York for New Year (31st - 3rd). Just wondering if there are any decent bars / clubs that are having events, or if there are any events happening in the city centre in general?
There are no official New Year events in York as such (most are in the pre Christmas period such as St. Nicholas Fayre and the Festival of Angels) but the best place to see in the New Year is in front of the Minster with the bells ringing on the stroke of midnight.
